When we think on the triathlons there are many of the sports events that come into our mind. This includes swimming, running and cycling etc. We might not be aware of some events where a short distance triathlon also takes place. This kind of short distance triathlon is known as the Sprint Distance Triathlon. All such events are mainly done on places like the swim on a lake, ocean, a cycle ride to around 15 to 20 miles etc. Also this in sprint triathlon training involves a running race to around 3 to 4 miles in a day.

If we get an hour to do an exercise we have the time for the triathlon training. One of the simplest schedules that have been told by most of the experts is to do alternate training on the events. These are to run, bike, swim then to again run bike and swim and then we need to take rest on the seventh day. One of the hard part for a sprint triathlon training is to take an off during the training time. But a downtime for the body is the most essential part that is necessary. One of the parts that feel to be competing is to conserve the energy towards ourselves. While doing a swim we should know how we can pull ourselves throughout the water with the help of the arms. During the bike race we need to have an idea on how to pull up with the legs instead of pumping down for the purpose of saving the running muscles for the race. A most common one of the brick workout is the bike to run transition .Competition for a triathlon is not found to be an easy task. Physical fitness is an essentiality for this. Since this is considered as an endurance sports, training for the improvement of endurance is a necessary. This can be increased with the support of physical exercises. Without the cardio vascular abilities it is not possible for the competition in a triathlon. Also the muscle building is another factor along with all these exercises. Since this training consists of multiple activities each of the activity requires the usage of the muscles in a different manner. So it is important that we develop the muscles throughout the body for the benefit of these events.

There are many reasons for the necessity of the sprint triathlon.

  • We can test ourselves in a method that we have never thought of.
