Many times, it happens that your body is in need of couple of days more to recover.Bodybuilders who cannot understand this fall in the category of hard gainers. Due to overtraining your immune system also suffers because your body is under added stress of overtraining. Overtraining is an easy to fall trap because most of the bodybuilders think that they can increase their performance by working harder and longer.

You are burning good amount of calories, it may be better than you were doing before. Your testosterone and cortisol ratio is disturbed, you may be aware that testosterone is essential for your muscle growth. You need to find out if you have constant pain in your joints. Do you have different kind of pain, which is throbbing, and continuous? Many times people suffer from insomnia. Even if you are tired, you are unable to sleep. These are clear symptoms that you are overtraining yourself. When you are entering the gym, you do not feel like doing the exercises and without interest, you are exercising. This is lack of motivation and this is due to hormonal imbalance and insufficient growth.

Take rest

You cannot gain muscles overnight because you have not achieved this level in a couple of days. If you will take rest for a couple of days, it will not damage your physique. On the contrary if you keep on doing exercises which will result in maintaining stress on your body, this will damage your physique. This is detrimental to the growth of muscles and not only your muscles will suffer, you will experience hormonal imbalance, lack of motivation and dislike for exercise. Many times, you cannot understand the signs your body and this is the reason why you do not take proper rest. You can discuss it with your fitness instructor and ask him to take a supplement 3 to 4 weeks per cycle.
